Abdul Hafeez & Co. is a chartered accountancy practice based in Clifton, Karachi. We act for private and public limited companies, single member companies, partnerships, not-for-profit organisations and individuals — on audit, taxation, accounting and the compliance that surrounds them.
Who leads the work
The practice is led by Abdul Hafeez, FCA, a Fellow Chartered Accountant with more than twenty years of experience in audit and taxation, alongside eight years in industry as Chief Financial Officer of multinational and national companies.
Before entering practice, he held manager roles at three of the four largest international accounting firms — Ernst & Young, Deloitte and PricewaterhouseCoopers — leading senior audit, accounting and international tax engagements.
That combination is the point of the firm. Having prepared and signed off accounts as a CFO, and audited them as a practitioner, we understand both sides of the conversation — and we bring a large-firm standard of documentation to owner-managed businesses that would not normally get it.
Tax representation
On contentious tax matters we are advised by Wazir Sultan, a former Income Tax Commissioner. His experience inside the department, combined with our reporting and audit work, means we can carry a matter from the first notice through to the Supreme Court without passing you to another firm at each stage.
