ECC decides to abolish regulatory duty on smuggling prone items

 Economic Coordination Committee of the Cabinet (ECC) has decided to abolish regulatory duty on smuggling prone items.
 
In a meeting held on Thursday chaired by Adviser to the Prime Minister on Finance and Revenue Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shaikh also decided in favour of removal/reduction of regulatory duty on the smuggling prone items, including fabric, sanitary ware, LED/TVs, padlocks, blankets, electorodes etc.
