The Currency Management Department of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has issued a notification stating that Fresh Bank Notes will not be issued on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr 2020.

Based on the notification issued a meeting was held by the COVID-19 committee chaired by the Director General Banking on 29 April 2020 where it was decided that Fresh Bank Notes will not be issued on the occasion Eid-ul-Fitr 2020.
